It has Been a long time since my last post! But not to worry-I'm back and here to stay :)
Now for a side-trip through the vistas of imagination and that, as conjured by the mind of an artist and friend, Heruka from upon Deviant Art.
First, we consider a deeply thoughtful and poignant piece of art - "Roker Pier". It depicts myriad shades in harmony - yet with a sense of Mystery and perhaps even a tinge of Hope amidst Melancholy. The best interpretation of this may still be Heruka's own.

Next, a rather sinister-looking masterpiece, the 'Pygmalion' depicts the bony remains of what appears to be the head of an animal, but which may be part human as well! This may very well be a metaphorical interpretation of the Greek legend of Pygmalion: The sculptor who fell in love with his statue, and brought it forth to Life!

"Little Visitor" gives a rather Ying-Yang feel to the Lunar Legend. It possibly envisions the Moon as Earth's childlike visitor, who journeys forth to visit every night and departs at dawn. Simultaneously, it portrays the fickle nature of the Human mind, in letting the Light and Dark sides visit, hold sway, vanish and coexist upon the mental landscape.
But practically speaking, Zoom right in and you'll see a tiny Spaceship and a Tiny Visitor upon the moon, and that's the real namesake!

The very last - yet most intriguing portrait of them all - 'Sky' kindles in us, a spirit of boundless adventure, the feeling of expectant Chaos, of Opportunity and the World thrown wide open!

These Interpretations remain my own, though they may differ from those Heruka intended whilst creating these brilliant pieces of Art. I encourage One and All to check out his work on Deviant Art and learn firsthand - the seeds of imagination sowed - which led to their creation.
