Pieces of a Puzzle

A poem after long. This one's bout family, this one's for friends, and for everyone who knows a fundamental truth in life: that wherever we are, however far and separated by time and space, we're all pieces of the same puzzle. Waiting to be pieced.

Pieces of a puzzle,
Scattered by the wind.

Carried by time';
Tide and simple fate.

Lost we may seem;
But(we're)upon the same team!

Getting back to"a place;
Filled with grace.
No matter what dreams we(seem to)chase.
Memories"(we) | can't replace!

Brand new" start;
And starlit plans to chart.

Growing not apart.
With all our heart(s) we've our parts to play'

No matter what we say'
We're right here. (And) right now to stay.

Human By Right?

"

What is man without his illusions?

Without outrageous dreams?

With none but mechanical schemes?

Let to wander earth without surety of hope?

Without his fancies?

Without his childish joy?

Without curiosity and nay-willingness to suspend disbelief?

Caught in a numbing onslaught of fear, despair and perpetual distress?

A mere shell;

In'agony beyond hell-yet oblivious!

In denial pure-

As he tries his weakness, to obscure!

There isn't a more desperate time-

That each this choice must willingly make!

As existence trots the edge-and life's meanings change beyond reason;

The path one takes-defines or destroys!

When ones Blessed less-

In hope can be'more rich;

Can we relent-can we care less?

To embrace'the magic of life-which does truly bewitch?

We must indeed face the darkness- 

'fore we rejoice  in the light;

For our most wanton'needs-never cease to fight;

Lest we become ashamed-to be Human-by right! "

Its a debt o time for us to repay!
Hope n mystery have come to stay :)
An occasion to look back n hold onto what u cud, thats good!
Invocation to make em true, all dreams u have, u shud! :)

Another era dawns upon us! Magic smiles they are a bonus!
Hold on tight, the future's bright!
Its another roller-coaster ride,
in what u are now, do take good pride!
Goodwill's the flavour of d season, for a simple happy reason!

We are together in this!
MAKE it joyous, begin in Bliss :) "

Poem: "Apocalypse Now-Global Warming"

This poem captures my love of earth and the fear of its Apocalypse by Global Warming. It is a warning as well as a wake-up call:

The world so hot and bereft ,
Of life it ought reflect!
And people scattered about yonder,
Lest they be, un-fluttered,
And full of wonder!

Right it is for us to ponder,
And pray stop all and surrender!
Listening, so as to nature’s tale,
And the ill picture, that fortune does portray
Let not us, our future generations, betray!
For let them do, land and life, inherit
By seeing the bane,
that man does, often discredit!

Before be-gone, all that’s precious;
And all the splendor, of nature’s virtues;
Be fast, and swift and hasten,
Before be burnt, by the spark, of the
Global-warming piston!

To protect our futures,
And fortunes play part;
And awake, take honour, take heart!
Enlighten yourself and others besides you!
To the demon, that silently seeks, to eat you!
All that works is human spirit,
To stop the lamp of darkness being lit!

Let not us, the soldier’s work, belittle
In saving, mankind’s divine cradle;
That which all of us cherished,
And which, our fore-fathers nourished!
Let it not, that our sons be perished!
Be there hope, that life be replenished!
With heart and soul and love and work,
And not just idle talk and smirk!
